Play, go o do
| go | actividades que terminan en -ing | go swimming, go running, go cycling, go hiking, go skiing |
| do | artes marciales y disciplinas individuales sin pelota | do karate, do judo, do yoga, do gymnastics, do track and field |
Usa play: We play volleyball at the beach. (Jugamos al voleibol en la playa.)
¿La palabra termina en -ing?
Usa go: Let’s go surfing this weekend.
Usa do: My daughter does karate. (Mi hija hace kárate.)
Fíjate en que con play no hay preposición ni artículo: ✗ play to soccer, ✗ play the soccer. El artículo solo aparece con instrumentos musicales: play the guitar.
Material e instalaciones
