|---|---|
| I wake up at 6:45. | Me despierto a las siete menos cuarto. |
| I get up and make the bed. | Me levanto y hago la cama. |
| I take a shower and get dressed. | Me ducho y me visto. |
| I have breakfast and brush my teeth. | Desayuno y me lavo los dientes. |
| Inglés | Español |
|---|---|
| I get home at six thirty. | Llego a casa a las seis y media. |
| I cook dinner and do the dishes. | Preparo la cena y lavo los platos. |
| I watch TV or read for a while. | Veo la tele o leo un rato. |
| I go to bed at eleven and fall asleep quickly. | Me acuesto a las once y me duermo enseguida. |
Se dice I get up, I take a shower, I get dressed.
Con las comidas se usa have y sin artículo: have breakfast, have lunch, have dinner. Tampoco lleva artículo go to work, go to school ni go to bed, y home va sin to: ✓ I go home, ✗ I go to home.
Rutina diaria en inglés con horas
Para decir a qué hora haces algo, pon at delante de la hora: I get up at seven, I have lunch at 1:30.
|---|---|
| at seven o’clock | a las siete |
| in the morning | por la mañana |
| in the afternoon | por la tarde (hasta las cinco o las seis) |
| in the evening | por la tarde-noche |
| at night | por la noche |
| on Mondays | los lunes |
|---|---|
| I always have coffee in the morning. | Siempre tomo café por la mañana. |
| She usually takes the bus. | Normalmente toma el autobús. |
| We sometimes have lunch together. | A veces almorzamos juntos. |
| I’m never late for work. | Nunca llego tarde al trabajo. |
I go to the gym twice a week.

| I never go to bed late: I’m usually asleep at ten thirty. | Nunca me acuesto tarde: normalmente estoy dormida a las diez y media. |
| On weekends, I get up at nine! |
Si cuentas la rutina de otra persona, añade -s al verbo: Ana wakes up at six. She takes a shower, has breakfast and goes to work. Recuerda las formas especiales: have → has, go → goes, do → does, watch → watches.
